Day 1 in a nutshell

It was an interesting first Day.

As expected, some pupils find the flight a little uncomfortable, feeling the pressure in their ears. The SQ flight food is good and immediately after landing, we eat again.

It was a long 1.5h ride to the ceramic factory. The pupils get to see the roads and streets of HCMC and they compared with Singapore. How is it diferrent? What type of vehicle is most common on the road? Why? 

We watched an informative video at the ceramic factory and the pupils get a hands on experience painting a ceramic plate. Unfortunately we will only get them back much later as it will take several days to heat the finished product.

The water puppet show was an eye opener to many. How did they do that? We felt like royalty as the show was meant for kings during the 11th century.

It was a long but exciting day.
We await with excitement for day 2.
